Melanie Noon.

Perinatal Brighter Futures Coordinator:

I joined Brighter Futures in January 2020 as a Coordinator and have now been part of the team for six years.

Before joining Brighter Futures, I worked in childcare for 15 years as a Team Leader in a nursery. I hold an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and a Level 3 qualification in Team Leading. More recently, I have completed training in Mellow Bumps and Dads to Be. I am also a trained Steps Facilitator (Making Changes) and Baby Massage Therapist.

I run the Brighter Storks programme, which introduces mums-to-be to a range of techniques designed to encourage relaxation and promote a positive state of body and mind. The programme supports mums to feel safe, build confidence and feel better equipped to cope with life’s ups and downs.

I am also part of the Baby Growing Together group and really love watching both children and their parents grow, develop and flourish throughout the programme. I have also facilitated the Making Changes programme, which focuses on building self-esteem and self-confidence, while supporting clients to recognise and believe in their true potential.

I love that every day is different and feel incredibly lucky to support families as they grow in confidence and make positive changes in their lives. Seeing the progress my clients make is one of the most rewarding parts of my role. I also love being part of the Brighter Futures team and seeing what we can achieve together for the families we support.

Brighter Futures Client Feedback:

“Mel is beyond amazing. From the first time we met, I have felt completely at ease. I cannot imagine navigating the last few months of my life and all the anxiety that comes with it without Mel. Thank you so much!”
