Senior Practitioner:
I joined Brighter Futures in September 2021 as a Coordinator. I am now a Senior Coordinator and a member of the Designated Safeguarding Team.
Having previously been a client of Brighter Futures myself, the opportunity to then work for Brighter Futures was particularly meaningful to me. I had experienced first-hand the positive impact Brighter Futures can have on families, and this was a huge motivation for applying for the role. Being able to give back to an organisation that helped me during an important time in my own life is something I feel incredibly passionate about and grateful for.
Since I started at Brighter Futures, I have received a Level 4 qualification in Working with children, young people and families and I have also trained to facilitate the Incredible Years parenting program. I feel privileged to be invited to walk alongside families, providing a helping hand and supporting them to make positive and sustainable changes in their lives.
