I joined Brighter Futures in Spring 2023.
I have always had a passion for Brighter Futures since becoming a client 12 years ago. I then went onto volunteering in the Growing Together groups, but then went back to Beauty Therapy as my family grew. However, Brighter Futures has always been in my heart and it was my end goal to join when the time was right.
In 2022, I completed an Introduction to Counselling, a Compassion Focus Therapy course and underwent training to become a Perinatal Support Worker for MIND. When I saw there was a Keyworker position available with Brighter Futures in early 2023, I knew the time was right - and here I am!
Although I am still training and have more to learn, it is an honour working for such an amazing charity, working with best team and the most lovely families!
