I have been working for Brighter Futures since May 2010.
Whilst working at Brighter Futures, I feel fortunate that I being offered so much training – I have completed a “Work With Parents” diploma and am trained in Circle of Security, (attachment and relationships), and Babies Incredible Years. I have also undertaken Make It REAL (Raising Early Achievement in Literacy), also Safeguarding training.
I am part of the transition team, I love meeting new clients when they come to Brighter Futures.
The Transition team is responsible for meeting all of our newly referred families. I complete any paperwork and ensure that they are settled in with a group before they go to a forever keyworker.
I love being able to support clients on their journey, it is such a rewarding job that I love doing, especially when I heard my name mentioned in the recent performance by the Brighter Futures drama group, recently.
I am also one of the Portuguese-speaking members of the team so that I can help our Portuguese-speaking clients.
