Fundraising and Marketing sub-committee member:

Connor Burgher is an experienced community engagement and events professional serving on the Fundraising and Marketing sub-committee at Brighter Futures. He brings a strategic and people-centred approach to promoting the charity’s work and strengthening its connections with supporters across Jersey.

Connor currently holds the role of Head of Engagement and Town Centre Manager for the Parish of St Helier, where he leads initiatives to revitalise the town centre, supports local businesses, and delivers high-impact public events. In this capacity he has overseen the launch of major community festivals, guided the post-pandemic recovery of town centre activities, and led the development of the parish’s website and business forums. Connor’s work has earned recognition within the Jersey community for leadership and meaningful civic contribution.

With a background in event management, communications and public relations, Connor applies his skills to both community engagement and charitable causes. His thoughtful understanding of audience-centred communication and stakeholder collaboration strengthens the Fundraising and Marketing sub-committee’s efforts to broaden awareness of Brighter Futures and to support long-term sustainability.

Outside his committee role, Connor is actively involved in local initiatives that champion cultural, commercial and social vitality in St Helier.
