Crèche team facilitator

I joined Brighter Futures as a crèche facilitator at the beginning of 2025, bringing over ten years of experience in childcare. My career has spanned a wide range of settings, including children’s party teams, private nannying, and private nursery provision, all of which have shaped my practice and professional values. After becoming a mother, Brighter Futures became a charity I felt strongly connected to, so joining the organisation was both meaningful and purposeful.

In the crèche, I work collaboratively with the team to care for babies and young children while their parents or primary carers attend the many Brighter Futures programmes. Our role is to provide a safe, nurturing environment that allows parents/carers to fully engage with their course, take time for themselves, and build connections with others, confident that their children are well supported. We work closely with families to help each child settle and feel secure within the crèche setting.

We care for children from around three months old through to pre-nursery age, encouraging them to explore independently, make choices, and lead their own play. Supporting children as their confidence develops and their personalities emerge is one of the most rewarding aspects of the role. It is a privilege to support both children and parents/carers as they progress and grow together as a family.

I take great pride in this work and value the opportunity to be part of each family’s journey.
