Crèche team facilitator:

I joined Brighter Futures in September 2025 as a crèche facilitator. I have over twenty years’ experience working with children across a range of settings, including private nurseries, nannying, play care and as a teaching assistant in a local primary school. This breadth of experience has strengthened my knowledge and continually developed my practice.

As a parent to three children, I understand first-hand the importance of families feeling supported, valued and cared for. This understanding was a key reason for wanting to join the Brighter Futures team and to contribute to the work it does with families.

Within the crèche, I am passionate about creating a welcoming, safe and engaging environment for babies and toddlers. I particularly enjoy designing stimulating play opportunities alongside the wider crèche team and have become well known for my small world and construction set-ups, including train tracks, castle play and a pet veterinary role-play area. Providing a calm, enabling and nurturing environment allows parents to attend courses and respite sessions with confidence, knowing their children are safe and well cared for.
