Growing Together Opens Its Doors at Pathways in St Clement

Pathways Growing Together Opens Its Doors to Families in the East đŸ§¡.

Brighter Futures is delighted to announce that our Pathways Growing Together group officially welcomed families to its new home at Samarès Primary School on Wednesday 4 November 2026.

Following many successful years of delivering Growing Together in Georgetown, we are excited to begin this new chapter at Pathways, providing an improved setting for families living in the east of the island.

Our first session took place yesterday, marking the start of another exciting opportunity for parents, carers and children to come together, learn through play and strengthen their relationships.

The Same Growing Together Experience, Closer to Home

Families attending Pathways Growing Together can expect the same welcoming, supportive and engaging programme that has been delivered at The Bridge for many years, but without the added worry of travelling into town.

Growing Together is an evidence-based early years programme designed to strengthen parent–child relationships and support children's development through purposeful play and shared learning experiences.

Our experienced Brighter Futures coordinators work alongside parents and carers, encouraging positive interaction and helping families build confidence while focusing on three important areas of child development: personal, social and emotional development; communication and language; and physical development.

Sessions include imaginative and sensory play, creative activities, singing, storytelling and physical play, all designed to encourage children to explore, develop new skills and enjoy meaningful time with their parents or carers.

Supporting Families in the East

Having delivered Growing Together in the east of the island since 2018, we know how important it is for families to have access to support within their own community.

Our new home at Pathways, Samarès Primary School, provides a welcoming environment where families can connect with others, develop friendships and access early intervention support closer to where they live.

The move also presents exciting opportunities to strengthen relationships with other professionals and services based at Pathways, helping ensure families receive the right support at the right time.

Thank You to Our Funders 🧡

We are incredibly grateful to the Jersey Community Foundation (JCF), through the Dormant Bank Accounts Fund, for generously supporting Pathways Growing Together.

Their funding enables us to continue delivering this valuable early intervention programme in the east of the island, helping parents and carers strengthen relationships with their children and giving young children the best possible start in life.

We look forward to welcoming more families to Pathways Growing Together and continuing to build brighter futures together.
