I feel happy that Roderigo and I have been here, he has changed so much. When I came here I had difficulties managing Roderigo's behaviour, attention and listening.

Growing Together

I had thirteen short 1:1 sessions with Emma where she planned short activities and games for Roderigo and I. They were brilliant and helped so much. His concentration has improved. He loves Emma. His behaviour is much better and he listens to me now. Since going to the Growing Together groups and speech and language therapy he has started putting four words together from one word when I first came in March 2011. He is doing a lot more varied activities than before also such as painting. This has been like his first school and I think he is ready to start nursery in September now. He has changed a lot.

Support network

I love the other mums and the staff.  I find talking to my key worker Naomi really helpful. I can say things to her that I don't say to my family or friends because I don't want to make them sad. Time in the Quiet Place Sanctuary is relaxing. I am very happy to come here.
